A court in Islamabad has authorized the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing to block 27 Pakistani YouTube channels.
The decision followed a formal petition by the agency’s Cyber Crime Circle, which alleged that the channels were disseminating false, misleading, and defamatory content targeting state institutions.
According to the FIA’s submission, the listed channels were involved in circulating content that incited public fear, spread panic, and promoted hostility toward government entities and officials.
