SIALKOT: A teenage boy was shot dead while he was recording a TikTok video with his friends in Kharota Syedan area of Sialkot on Sunday.
The victims’ friends informed the police that a 16-year-old boy, Haris shot himself accidentally, adding that while they were shooting a video.
However, the victims’ parents have claimed one of the boy’s friends shot him deliberately. “Our son has been murdered over personal hostility,” the boy’s father claimed.
The police have detained both friends of the deceased and a case was registered too. The locals have said that the three boys were close friends and would shoot videos regularly.
In this regarded a social media strategist Asad Baig said “The biggest dependability is of parents,” Many parents just turn a blind eye towards how their children are using their mobile phones.
Dr Muizz another social media expert said that the responsibility of parents ended a long time ago as they themselves are busy with their own lives now.
