Detained Baloch protesters being released after bail: Police

Islamabad police announced on Sunday that the bail for all detained Baloch protesters, apprehended during a recent demonstration, has been approved, and they are in the process of being released.

According to a statement released today by Islamabad police, the detained protesters had demanded the release of their fellows during meetings with a committee formed by the Prime Minister and the Governor of Balochistan.

Cold, dry weather forecast for Karachi

The Pakistan Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted cold and dry weather for most parts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours. According to the meteorological department, the minimum temperature in Karachi recorded 17 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperature will remain between 28 to 29 -degrees Celsius. Humidity in air remained 38%, Met Office said. The weather will remain cold and dry in most districts of Sindh with likely fog and smog in Jacobabad, Mohen Jo Daro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki and Padidan, according to the weather department.
