In Dubai, the Summit COP 28 highlighted the efforts to control the effects of climate change, particularly in relation to health. The Child Life Foundation illuminated Pakistan’s name in the health category.
In the health category of COP 28, “Zayed Sustainability Prize” saw participation from 5,000 institutions worldwide, shortlisting only three institutions, including the Child Life Foundation from Pakistan. The other two countries represented were France and Indonesia.
During COP 28, the Child Life Foundation, in collaboration with the government, was recognized for its significant contribution to improving emergency care for children through emergency rooms and telemedicine networks in 200 hospitals.
Although the foundation did not win the “Zayed Sustainability Prize,” its prominent services garnered global attention, making Pakistan stand out on the COP 28 forum.
