People from all walks of life through social media platforms have paid rich tributes to renowned actor, King of Comedy, TV, and stage personality, Umer Sharif on his first second anniversary today.
Umer Sharif opened his eyes in 1955 in the Liaquatabad area of Karachi and celebrated his art on every platform including stage plays and TV. Umer Sharif is remembered by his fans even today.

Umer Sharif died due to heart disease. Several people participated in the funeral prayer in large numbers and prayed for the comedy king.
Umer Sharif showed the essence of acting and comedy in all mediums including theatre, stage, film, and TV. His original name was Muhammad Umer, which was later changed to Umer Sharif.
Umer Sharif started his career by acting on stage in 1974 at the age of 14, releasing plays on audio cassettes in 1980 and gaining unprecedented fame. Apart from Pakistan, he was also popular in India and other Urdu-speaking countries.
