Former Pakistan and renowned wicketkeeper captain Moin Khan has voiced his opinion regarding the comeback of retired pacer Mohammad Amir.
The cricket fraternity continues to talk about Mohammad Amir and his return to the Pakistan team after injuries to a few Pakistan pacers.
According to Moin, the 31-year-old is a great cricketer and is performing well in leagues. “Amir is a current cricketer, he is playing leagues and performing well,” Moin said while talking to reporters.
“If there is need for Amir and room for his come back, he should definitely come back as he is a great cricketer and in the end a Pakistani,” he added.
However, Moin affirmed that Amir shouldn’t be replacing a player who is more deserving than him.

“He shouldn’t replace someone who is already settled and deserving, Follow the process for his selection,” Moin concluded.
Remember, Amir had announced retirement in December 2020 after alleging the coaching panel of Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis of “ill-treatment”. He had cited “mental torture” by the management as the reason behind his decision. He also said that they have tried to spoil his image and it takes a lot of hard work to build your image.
Although, Waqar Younis denied it and said he was hurt by the comments of Amir.
Currently, the pacer is playing Caribbean Premier League for Jamaica Tallawahs where he has bagged 15 wickets in eight games.
