KARACHI: Fatima Bhutto, granddaughter of former Prime Minister and founder of People’s Party Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and daughter of Mir Murtaza Bhutto, has criticized the Sindh government for alleged corruption in the education and health sectors.
In a tweet posted on Tuesday, Fatima Bhutto expressed her disappointment that despite having raised concerns about the ghost school of Sajawal in February, which was empty due to corruption within the Sindh government, nothing has been done to address the situation. Fatima also questioned the identity of teachers who are registered as working in the school and are taking government salaries.
Furthermore, she alleged that corruption was also evident in the Sajawal taluka hospital, where construction began ten years ago but remains incomplete. This has left women delivering babies to have to drive all the way to Larkana to receive basic medical attention, with some reportedly dying on the way.

She described this as corruption in practice, emphasizing that there are no schools or hospitals in the area. She further added that the whole country knows where the money is going and that generations would have to pay for it.
