LAHORE: Former prime minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday said his party will defeat the ‘Zardari mafia’ in Sindh.
Imran Khan said that Zardari group has made people of Sindh hostages during a meeting with PTI Sindh leader Khurram Sher Zaman in Lahore. The PTI Sindh chapter called on Imran Khan to discuss the arrests of party officials and members in Sindh.
Khurram Sher Zaman presented the progress report of the party’s MPAs in Sindh to Imran Khan. The meeting also discussed the expected Sindh visit of Imran Khan.
Speaking at the event, the former prime minister advised Sindh’s citizens to get ready for the next elections and vowed to free them from the “Zardari mafia.”
With the power of the vote, he said, we shall overthrow the “Zardari mafia.”
The former prime minister noted that the majority of rights violations have been reported in Sindh.
Earlier, Imran Khan asserted that he would form the next government in Sindh, reiterating his demand for ‘immediate and transparent’ elections.
