ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan has been made a joke by the present rulers who have become a source of embarrassment for nation.

Talking to media on his arrival at a local court in connection with sedition case registered against him, Fawad Chaudhry said the rulers were too quick to accept resignations of PTI MNAs, yet they were not ready to hold elections.He said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was duty bound to hold elections, yet it was running away from dispensing its obligatory duty.

He said “yesterday, Maryam Nawaz said flour and tomato prices have come down in the country,” adding that these people couldn’t take to the street without security.
He said ‘jokers’ had been imposed upon the nation in an attempt to block way of Imran Khan, adding that Shehbaz and Bilawal weren’t normally found in Pakistan. He further said “this government has damaged the reputation of green passport, and that PDM leadership had lost its credibility.”

Referring to sedition case, Fawad Chaudhry said such cases were used to be made during British era, and such idiotic policies resulted not only backfired but result in loss for Pakistan in 1970.
