ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said there are no more fundamental rights in this country and democracy is dead and buried today, adding that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that the Toshakhana case against him was “false and baseless”.
The former premier in a video message urged the nation to stand up for real freedom. He termed the reference is the misuse of power and the Constitution, a ploy to make him surrender to thieves.
“The time my words will reach you, I will be disqualified in an unjust case.” Imran Khan said “It only proves one thing, there are no more fundamental rights anymore. Democracy is dead and buried today.”
The PTI chief feared that he might not get another chance to talk to the masses.

“I want to share a few things with you,” Mr. Khan said “Pakistanis know me for fifty years, I have never broken a law in my life. I will always try to curtail my struggle to the bounds of the law. Whatever they are doing, today, not because I have violated a law. They only want me to stop the real ‘Azadi movement.’ They just want me to accept these thieves, the imported government, who have been forced on us. No nation gets its freedom on a plate, one has to struggle for it. Therefore, I request all Pakistanis to stand up for their right of real freedom.”
