MULTAN: The Punjab Health dept formed a six-member team to probe the discovery of dead bodies on the roof of Nishtar Hospital Multan. The team consists of hospital management and district administration officials and will submit its report within 3 days.

The officials ran into action after a series of news regarding the horrible discovery of dozens of rotten bodies found on the rooftop of Multan’s Nisthar Hospital. Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi, while expressing grief on the issue ordered an inquiry into the matter.

He said Strict action should be taken against those responsible for the mishandling of bodies. Desecration of bodies cannot be allowed in any civilized society as it is an inhuman act to throw bodies on the roof of a hospital.
