NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Two security forces personnel embraced martyrdom in an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in North Waziristan, the military media wing reported on Sunday.
Naib Subedar Javed Iqbal and Naik Hussain Ahmad were martyred in the Eesham region of North Waziristan as a result of a locally produced IED explosion, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.
The search operation to find the local terrorists is currently in progress.
Separately, security personnel carried out an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) since it was believed that a well-known terrorist was present in or near Charbagh, in the Swat District.
According to ISPR, the terrorist was killed during the confrontation.
