Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is set to stage a public power show in Charsadda’s Atmanzia Ground today.The PTI Chief Imran Khan would address the public gathering.
A 40 foot high, and 16 foot wide stage has been placed on the ground for the public gathering. While separate sections have been allocated for women.
The PTI Chief would visit flood-affected areas of the city ahead of the public gathering.
The PTI had also issued a video message ahead of the Charsadda power show saying Imran Khan will visit the flood-affected areas before addressing the public gathering.
It should be noted that NA-24 Charsadda seat is vacant due to acceptance of PTI 11 MNAs resignation by Speaker National Assembly, while Election Commotion of Pakistan (ECP) has announced by-poll on the seat on October 16.
Earlier, the by-poll on the seat were scheduled on September 25, however due to devastating floods in the country the election was postponed and now the ECP has announce a fresh date.
Imran Khan is a candidate on the seat and he will contest Aimal Wali Khan of ANP who is a joint candidate of the coalition parties.
