LAHORE: By-elections will be held in Punjab tomorrow, the election campaign time ended last night as by-elections will be held in 20 constituencies.
According to the details, the Election Commission has completed the preparations for holding the by-elections in Punjab. Yesterday, the ruling political party Muslim League (N) held rallies in Lahore and Multan.
Chairman PTI and former Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed public gatherings in Lahore and Faisalabad. The election campaign time ended at 12 o’clock last night.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has banned all parties from holding rallies, corner meetings, and other political activities related to the by-elections as soon as the campaign period ends.

Commission officials say that action will be taken under the Election Act against the political parties violating the ban of the Election Commission.
It should be remembered that earlier the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) demanded the deployment of the Pakistan Army outside the polling stations in 5 sensitive constituencies of Lahore and Multan.
Due to security concerns in 5 specific constituencies during the by-elections of Punjab yesterday, the Election Commission wrote a letter to the Ministry of Interior.
In the letter, the Election Commission requested to increase the number of Quick Response Force and flag marches in view of the threat of lawlessness during the by-elections.
