As we all know PPP has just started a People’s Bus Service in Karachi, which is benefiting a large number of citizens. The initiative was introduced by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and has 7 routes.
At present, in the first phase, the People’s Bus Service has been launched from Model Colony to Tower route. The government says the routes of the People’s Bus Service will increase every 15 days.
Talking to MM News, a citizen said that this bus service is very good, air-conditioned but there is a problem that it takes a lot of time, for this too the government should do a little work because if this bus at the stop is so if it stays long, how will we get there on time?
Another resident said that the bus service is very good but the number of seats should be increased, which will make it more convenient for the people.
Talking to MM News, a woman said that the number of seats reserved for women in the bus service is very low, which needs to be increased as women also have children and other belongings. The number will increase so more women will be able to benefit from this service.
It is to be noted that the best thing about these buses is that they have special seats for people with disabilities that they can open and sit on, as well as they have the facility to charge mobile phones, which is the case nowadays.
Buses on route No. 2 of the Sindh Intra-District Peoples Bus Service in Karachi will start their formal commercial operations from today. The buses will run between the North Karachi neighbourhood and the Indus Hospital. Their route will be Nagan Chowrangi, Shafiq Morr, Sohrab Goth, Gulshan Chowrangi, Nipa, Jauhar Morr, COD, Drigh Road Station, Colony Gate, Shah Faisal Colony, Singer Chowrangi and Landhi to reach the hospital.
