KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information, Archives and Labor Saeed Ghani has said that complaints concerning inundated sewage near Masjid, schools, colleges, seminaries, and Imambargahs should be dealt with instantly.
The provincial minister for Information said this on Monday while visiting a private school located in Clifton accompanied by Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.
The Provincial ministers paid a surprise visit to the school after receiving complaints from the pupils regarding sewage and poor
condition of nearby roads.
Both ministers conveyed their annoyance on the accumulation of sewerage water and the terrible condition of the roads around the school. They ordered the Chief Engineer of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board and other concerned officers of KDA to solve the problems immediately and report.
Speaking on the occasion, the Information Minister Saeed Ghani said that such nonperformance would not be tolerated at all particularly outside
schools, colleges, Masajid and Imambargahs. Chief Engineer KDA Ramchand, Abdul Qadeer Mangi, and other officers were also present along with the provincial ministers.
