ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is yet to decide to join the new federal cabinet, while there is a division of view about the matter, sources said on Monday.
Sources privy to the matter said that the majority of PPP lawmakers were against joining the federal cabinet and suggested supporting the new setup without taking ministries.
Some other PPP leaders were in favor of joining the new federal cabinet for bringing political stability to the country, they said.
In this connection, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former president Asif Ali Zardari have started consultation regarding the new cabinet and a final decision is expected in the coming days. The sources claimed.
Earlier it was said that PPP Chairman will be Foreign Minister in the new setup, however so for PPP has neither confirmed the news nor negated it.
