LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Thursday lashed out at the government of Pakistan for nationwide petrol crisis.
In her Tweet, she stated that making the nation stand in queues for the pursuit of flour, sugar and petrol shows government’s incompetency.
In addition to this she said that the public is under due calamity whereas the government is not paying heed to the condition of poor people.
Maryam went on to say that Imran Khan was not seen tensed even for a single day while public is brutally suffering.
Meanwhile, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, in a statement, said the entire nation was worried as the government had shown its “incompetence” in dealing with petroleum dealers.
“Most of the petrol pumps are closed in the country, while several long queues could be seen […] businesses affairs are affected, which is the government’s failure,” the PPP leader said.
Bilawal said PM Imran Khan had “ruined” the lives of people after his government had affected every aspect of life. “PTI-led government turns solvable issues into a crisis through its incompetence.”

The strike of Pump Dealers Association in different cities of the country including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi has begun from today.
According to details, the Petrol Pump Dealers Association has announced a nationwide strike. Long queues of vehicles formed at petrol pumps in different cities of the country including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
Citizens of Peshawar, Hyderabad, and Sukkur are also suffering due to the non-availability of petrol. Lines of vehicles and motorcycles were also set up at petrol pumps in Faisalabad and Bahawalpur.
