Virat Kohli’s captaincy journey has come to an end after the Indian team was disqualified from in the ICC T20 World Cup.
Virat Kohli, who earlier announced his retirement as T20 Captain said that the next captain of the Indian team will be Rohit Sharma. According to the details, India won their last match against Namibia yesterday but the team is disappointed.
Speaking after the toss yesterday, Virat Kohli said that the captaincy of the Indian cricket team is an honor for him and fortunately, he fulfilled this responsibility but now he has to do it in someone else’s name.

Naming Rohit Sharma as the new captain, Virat Kohli said that the leadership of the Indian team would be in the hands of safe hands who have a keen eye on all aspects related to cricket. It should be noted that Virat Kohli had announced his resignation from the T20 captaincy before the World Cup.
In his social media message two months ago today, Virat Kohli said that he has endured the pressure of captaincy in the last nine years and taken over the captaincy of India in ODIs. “I will show my full potential as a batsman during T20,” he wrote.
