KARACHI: Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Tariq Malik has issued instructions to address the grievances of the citizens of Karachi.
The Chairman NADRA directed to take several important decisions and take massive steps to make the provision of NADRA services to the citizens easy and convenient and to address the problems being faced by them immediately.
The Chairman NADRA directed the Human Resource Directorate to take immediate steps for the recruitment of 50 Data Entry Operators and 15 Deputy Assistant Directors to address the complaints of staff shortage in Karachi and to complete the process immediately.
Tariq Malik directed to take steps to ensure the provision of state-of-the-art facilities at NADRA Registration Center Clifton. He also issued orders to approach the police and FIA to start crackdown against active agent mafia outside NADRA offices in Karachi.
In view of the large number of citizens visiting NADRA centers in Karachi, he issued instructions to deploy mobile registration vans providing services only during the day as well as in the evening.
During his visit to NADRA offices, the Chairman NADRA talked to the citizens, listened to their problems and gave orders to resolve them on the spot. He also urged the NADRA employees to resolve the public issues immediately. “Providing high quality services to the people without any hassle or waiting in long queues is our top priority,” he said.
Malik directed that if it is possible to upgrade the existing center, immediate work should be started on it or if necessary it should be shifted to an alternative location to ensure full convenience and convenience for the citizens.
