ISLAMABAD: Rain with dust or thunderstorm with strong gusty winds is expected in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, while Karachi witnessed a light drizzling early in the morning.
The weather turned pleasant with clouds in several cities across the country. According to details, hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the plains of the country. It will rain in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Punjab.
The Meteorological Department has forecast hot weather in the federal capital Islamabad today but thundershowers are expected in the evening. Rain with thunderstorms is also expected in some places in Barkhan. According to Meteorological Department, Pothohar, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, and Gujarat will receive rains.
Rain is expected in Hafizabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Sargodha, and Mianwali. Bhakkar, Layyah, and Dera Ghazi Khan will receive showers with strong winds and thundershowers.
Light drizzle started in different parts of Karachi this morning. According to the Meteorological Department, drizzle will continue in Karachi, Thatta, and Badin.
Rain is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Buner, and Abbottabad. It will also rain in Mansehra, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Karam, Bannu, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan.

The weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, rains fell in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Lahore, and Islamabad.
It may be recalled that earlier this month in Karachi earlier this morning, the drizzle started while other cities of Sindh also received light rain while Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan received thundershowers.
Early in the morning of August 2, various cities across the country, including Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper, and Central Punjab, and Northeast Balochistan, received the heaviest rainfall, with the highest rainfall recorded in KP.
