Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday, mirroring losses in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,100 to settle at Rs477,862.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,801, bringing it down to Rs409,689, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association.
On Monday, gold per tola had already decreased by Rs3,800 to Rs479,962, while on Saturday it stood at Rs483,762 after a modest drop of Rs200.
In the global market, gold prices also slipped, falling by $21 to reach $4,555 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices followed the same downward trend, declining by Rs65 to settle at Rs7,849 per tola.
