The Islamabad High Court has scheduled for hearing tomorrow a petition seeking a ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s X (formerly Twitter) account, along with another petition seeking access for Bushra Bibi to her personal physician.
According to details, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the Islamabad High Court will hear both petitions.
The Adiala Jail authorities have already submitted their response, while the court has directed other parties to file their replies as well.
Imran Khan’s lawyer, Salman Akram Raja, is representing the case. The court had earlier allowed him to meet the PTI founder for consultation; however, the meeting could not take place despite the court’s order.
Separately, a petition filed by Bushra Bibi’s daughter has been assigned a case number by the Islamabad High Court’s registrar office and fixed for hearing. In her plea, she has requested access for Bushra Bibi to her personal doctor.
Bushra Bibi’s daughter, Mubashira Khawar Maneka, has also sought permission for family visits along with access to a personal physician.
