Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced on Monday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved allowing spectators to attend all three playoff matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11.
According to details, Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi announced “good news” for fans on the social media platform X after meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He wrote that he had just met the prime minister and was pleased to share that approval has been granted for public attendance at all three Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoff matches.
Naqvi added that a condition of austerity has been set for spectators attending the stadiums. He urged fans to use public transport or minimize fuel consumption when travelling to the venues.

The interior minister also extended good wishes to all four teams participating in the PSL playoffs, saying that the matches would now become even more exciting.
Earlier, Naqvi had visited the Prime Minister’s Office regarding the issue of allowing spectators at the playoff matches, where he also briefed the prime minister on security arrangements. Following the briefing, the prime minister approved the decision to allow fans into the stadiums.
It is worth noting that there had been continuous public demand on social media to permit spectators for the remaining PSL matches.
