The Punjab Traffic Police has warned that motorcyclists riding without indicators will face a fine of Rs2,000.
Authorities have urged riders to strictly follow road safety rules, particularly the use of turn indicators, or risk penalties.
According to officials, failing to use indicators is not only a traffic violation but also a major cause of road accidents, posing serious risks to both riders and other road users.
Traffic police added that installing functional indicators is relatively inexpensive, with an estimated cost of around Rs400. They stressed that spending a small amount can help prevent accidents and save lives.
The department also emphasised additional safety measures, including the mandatory use of helmets and proper maintenance of motorcycles.
Punjab Traffic Police warned that violations will be dealt with strictly, with no leniency for offenders.
