In a tragic incident, three throat-slit bodies of children recovered from an apartment in Lahore’s Ichhra area. Police have initially taken the children’s uncle into custody and begun investigations.
According to police, the bodies of two girls and one boy were recovered from a residential flat in Ichhra. The victims included two children aged five and four, while the girl was one and a half years old.
Initial investigations revealed that all three children were mercilessly killed by having their throats slit. After collecting evidence, police detained the children’s uncle and started questioning him.
Police said that the affected family lived on the second floor of a four-story building, and the children’s father, Ramzan, worked as a motor mechanic.
At the time of the incident, the couple had locked the flat and gone to the market. When they returned, the flat was still locked, but upon entering, they found their children’s bodies and immediately informed the police.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Inspector General took notice of the incident, sought a report from the Lahore CCPO, and directed the DIG Operations to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspect.
Police officials said all resources are being utilized for the suspect’s arrest, and special teams have been formed for this purpose.
