A four-member team of specialist doctors from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Al-Shifa Eye Trust visited Adiala Jail to conduct a detailed medical examination of Bushra Bibi, jail sources said.
The visiting delegation included Professor Nadeem Qureshi and Dr Muhammad Arif Khan, along with Dr Afaq Ahmed and Dr Umar Farooq.
According to sources, the doctors conducted a comprehensive eye examination of Bushra Bibi, which lasted approximately two hours. She had reportedly complained of vision-related issues, prompting the visit by the specialist team.
The medical experts arrived at the jail equipped with modern diagnostic tools to assess her condition thoroughly.
They were assisted by the medical staff of the Adiala Jail hospital during the examination process.
Following the check-up, the doctors prescribed eye drops and additional medication for treatment. Bushra Bibi had previously undergone an eye examination at the same facility, indicating ongoing concerns regarding her eyesight.
