The lady police constable, who was reportedly abducted in Lahore on Monday, has strongly rejected the report that she was kidnapped, saying she married a man of her own choice.
After her statement on Tuesday, the investigating police have dropped the case.
The police filed the case on behalf of the constable’s father.

As per the first information report (FIR), Lady Police Constable Ayesha failed to report for duty on time yesterday.
She was performing her duty from 11 pm to 7:00 am. The father of the lady constable approached the police for registration of an FIR, fearing that his daughter might have been kidnapped on her way to office.
