Prominent Islamic scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani has said that Pakistan’s leadership has been divinely guided to play an extremely sensitive and balanced role in efforts to prevent a war between Iran and the United States.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, Mufti Taqi Usmani remarked that Pakistan’s measured approach in easing tensions between Iran and the US has significantly enhanced the country’s global standing.
He further stated that the success of the negotiations taking place today is not only crucial for the Muslim world but also for the entire international community.
He added that the Prime Minister has urged the public to offer prayers on this occasion, and emphasised that people should remain engaged in supplication.
