Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman has said that the recent attacks on Saudi Arabia are part of a US and Israeli plan to pit the Muslim Ummah against each other.
While presiding over a JUI meeting, Fazl ur Rehman stated that they consider these attacks a serious violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He expressed condolences to the Saudi leadership, its people, and the affected families over the loss of precious lives.
He said that from day one, they have opposed Israel’s aggression against Palestinians under US patronage and have strongly resisted Israel’s expansionist ambitions extending into the Arab world and Iran.
He further stated that they have repeatedly emphasised the need for Islamic countries to show restraint and tolerance towards one another, and stressed that Muslim nations must demonstrate unity against Israel.
He added that Islamic countries should move towards forming a unified Islamic bloc.
