Islamabad police to create 250 ASI posts

In a major administrative move, Islamabad police decided to create 250 new posts of assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) and abolish posts of 320 constables.

According to details, the step is being taken to strengthen the field system of the police. Efforts are underway for the approval of 250 vacant posts of sub-inspectors.

The proposal to create new posts of 320 sub-inspectors has also been submitted to the relevant authorities.

It was also decided to strengthen field duties and the patrolling system of the Islamabad police.
