The second phase of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 is set to begin in Karachi on Wednesday, April 8, featuring 22 high-stakes matches.
Teams from across the country have started arriving in Karachi, with training sessions already underway at the National Stadium’s Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre.
The Hyderabad Kingsmen and Peshawar Zalmi reached Karachi on April 2, while Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings arrived on April 4. Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United are set to arrive on April 6, and Rawalpindi and Multan Sultans on April 7.
Meanwhile, training sessions for the matches began today. Hyderabad Kingsmen started practice at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre, National Stadium, despite the ground being wet from yesterday’s rain. Players conducted training carefully on the soggy field.
Peshawar Zalmi will train on April 4. On April 5, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Peshawar Zalmi will practice in the morning, while Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars will take part in afternoon sessions. On April 6, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars will train in the afternoon, and on April 7, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Peshawar Zalmi will hold night practice sessions.
On April 8, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, and Karachi Kings will train in the morning. Later that evening, at 7:00 PM, Hyderabad Kingsmen will face Peshawar Zalmi in the 15th match of the league.
