Following Daniel Craig’s final appearance in No Time to Die, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have confirmed that a new actor will be selected, but the casting process is still ongoing.
Several names—such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Henry Cavill, and James Norton—have been widely speculated in media reports, though none have been confirmed.
An official announcement is expected once the next film’s development progresses.
Fans got curious when Euronews bluffed about that James Bond character will be played by a female for the first time.
The likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Tom Holland, Harris Dickinson, Scott Rose-Marsh and Callum Turner were rumoured to be in contention for the next superspy, and recent reports suggested that 28-year-old Australian actor Jacob Elordi was the current favourite to play 007.
The character will be played by Irish actress and singer Jessie Buckley.
But so far no official annoucement has been made.
