The Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert predicting thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and hail in Karachi starting tomorrow until April 4.
The alert covers several districts across Sindh, including Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, and Qambar-Shahdadkot, warning residents of potential disruptions and property damage due to strong winds and lightning.
As per Met Office, rainfall is expected from today until April 4 in Karachi, Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, and Qambar-Shahdadkot.
Rainfall is expected in Karachi from tonight through April 3, with some areas possibly receiving 50 millimeters or more.
The department also predicted rain in Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Matiari, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Thatta, Hyderabad, and other locations.
In Karachi, light rain and drizzle are expected today, while thunderstorms with rain are likely on Thursday.
The department warned that some areas may experience moderate rainfall, while a few locations could see heavy rain and hail. Strong winds, hail, and lightning may cause damage to electricity poles, solar panels, billboards, and standing crops.
