Famous singer Taylor Swift has paid a stunning tribute to the Hollywood icon with dazzling, Cleopatra-inspired artwork for her single “Elizabeth Taylor.”
The 36-year-old singer channels Hollywood glamour in promo shots, reclining on a chaise lounge in a sparkling sequin leotard adorned with frothy pink feathers.
The centerpiece of her transformation is a bejeweled headpiece reminiscent of Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic Cleopatra costume, paired with a sleek black wig and dramatic eyeliner.
Though Swift doesn’t appear in the music video itself, fans were surprised when she dropped it on Tuesday.

The visuals instead showcase archival footage of Elizabeth Taylor, including scenes from Cleopatra and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The song’s lyrics nod to the actress’s violet eyes, her love of diamonds, immortalized in her perfume White Diamonds, and her favorite destinations like Portofino and Paris.

It is worth mentioning that Swift revealed she sought permission from Elizabeth Taylor’s estate before releasing the track, with the video’s credits thanking the House of Taylor and the actress’s family.
