KARACHI: In a series of late-night alleged encounters across Karachi, police arrested nine suspects — several injured — following exchanges of gunfire in multiple neighborhoods.
Reports gathered by MM News reveal that the incidents unfolded in Gada Mor, Super Highway Anara Garden, Hill Park, and New Karachi Industrial Area, with accomplices escaping in most cases amid the chaos.
Near Lions Area Gada Mor, one suspect was apprehended in critical condition after a shootout, while his associate fled after opening fire. Similarly, at Super Highway Anara Garden, Sachal Police engaged in a two-way exchange with suspects, arresting one injured individual as the other escaped.
In Hill Park, Firozabad Police and Shaheen Force detained two wounded suspects after a confrontation, while a third vanished into the night. A separate incident saw Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell officers flag down a suspicious vehicle near Hill Park — only to be met with gunfire from the occupants.
In New Karachi Industrial Area, two more suspects were taken into custody near Sector 6B, with weapons, stolen goods, a motorcycle, and a car seized. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to identify the suspects and recover additional stolen property.
