Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, following gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola climbed to Rs475,962, up Rs3,900 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs408,060, marking an increase of Rs3,343, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold per tola had closed at Rs472,062, gaining Rs4,800 during the session.
Internationally, gold prices rose by $39, reaching $4,532 per ounce (plus a $20 premium).
Meanwhile, silver prices also edged higher, rising Rs70 to settle at Rs7,524 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
