Bodies of a newlywed couple recovered from a house in Karachi, police said on Monday.
According to police, the incident took place in New Karachi’s Bilal Colony, where the couple’s bodies were discovered.
Police said that the bodies appear to be two to three days old, and both individuals had remarried.
The police added that the house was locked, and both had injuries on their heads. For further investigation, the bodies have been taken to a hospital.
Earlier this month, a newly married woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her house in Azizabad near Safa Masjid. The body was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where she was identified as 23-year-old Ayesha, wife of Mohit.
The police said the deceased had married Mohit about four and a half months ago. Earlier, she had been married to Mohit’s elder brother, but after his death, she was married to the younger brother.
