Global oil prices increased amid concerns over possible disruptions to crude supply.
According to international media reports, Brent Crude rose from $88 to $92 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate was trading at around $88 per barrel.
Meanwhile, Asian stock markets showed a mixed performance.

At the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the market initially gained more than 2,000 points at the start of trading. However, the KSE-100 Index later declined by 318 points, closing at 155,858 points.
Elsewhere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 and South Korea’s KOSPI rose by 1.51 per cent, while the Bombay Stock Exchange recorded a decline.
European stock markets also showed a downward trend during the trading session.
