RAWALPINDI: A meeting was arranged between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi inside Adiala Jail. Media reports suggest that the meeting took place in the conference room of the prison and lasted for about thirty minutes.
According to those reports, the couple discussed pending appeals in the courts and other legal matters during their conversation. Sources claim that the focus remained on the progress of their legal teams and the status of ongoing cases.
At the end of the half-hour meeting, prison authorities escorted both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi back to their respective cells.
Imran Khan has been in jail since 2023, serving sentences in multiple cases, while Bushra Bibi was sentenced in January 2025 to seven years in prison in the £190 million case. Both have filed appeals that remain pending in higher courts.
