ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has declared that Zionism poses a significant threat to humanity, citing historical and contemporary conflicts as manifestations of this ideology, adding that the ongoing war against Iran is part of broader Zionist agenda aimed at expanding its influence to Pakistan’s border.
Turning to X (formerly Twitter), he argued that since the establishment of Israel on Palestinian land, every major disaster impacting the Islamic world has been linked, either directly or indirectly, to Zionist interests.

Asif emphasized that, for over a century, Zionism has exerted a profound influence on the world’s economic systems, effectively holding powerful nations captive.
The defense minister expressed pride in Pakistan’s status as a nuclear power, attributing the strength of its armed forces to divine support and the sacrifices made by its martyrs. He acknowledged former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s courage in advancing Pakistan’s nuclear program, referring to his leadership during crucial tests.
Drawing attention to regional instability, Khawaja Asif criticized the ongoing war imposed on Iran, claiming it to be a part of a broader Zionist agenda aimed at expanding Israel’s influence to Pakistan’s borders. He alleged that Afghanistan, Iran, and India shared a common goal of undermining Pakistan’s sovereignty, creating an environment where the nation is encircled by adversaries.
Addressing the diverse viewpoints among the 250 million citizens of Pakistan, Khawaja Asif called for solidarity in recognizing and combating what he described as a conspiracy by eternal enemies.
