The Anti-Terrorism Special Court has formally framed charges against the main accused, Armaghan, and co-accused Sheraz, in the murder case of Mustafa Amir.
Witnesses have been issued notices after both accused denied the charges.
The hearing took place at Special Court No. 15 of the Anti-Terrorism Complex at Karachi Central Jail, where jail authorities produced Armaghan and Sheraz before the court.
The court subsequently framed the charges against them and summoned witnesses for March 12 following the accused’s plea of not guilty.
According to the prosecution, 23-year-old Mustafa Amir was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by his friends in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on January 6, 2025.
The police said the accused stuffed Amir’s body into the trunk of a car and set it on fire in the Hub area of Balochistan.
The case remains under investigation as authorities prepare for witness testimonies in the upcoming hearings.
