Pakistan Hockey Federation President Tariq Bugti has announced his resignation.
Talking to the media, Tariq Bugti said that he has sent his resignation to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. I request the Prime Minister and Field Marshal to form a committee to investigate.
Tariq Bugti held the Pakistan Sports Board responsible for the mismanagement and announced a 2-year ban on Imad Shakeel Butt from domestic and international hockey.
He said that the funds for the Pro Hockey League were with the Pakistan Sports Board; the Pakistan Sports Board completely failed to handle things.
The President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation says that the Hockey Federation did not have enough funds to sub-manage there at that time; problems were faced during the tour of Australia due to PSB.
Tariq Bugti said that PSB did not pay the money on time for hotel booking in Australia; he himself went to the Pakistan Sports Board to send our money, but they said it would take 2 months.
He said that our world ranking was 18th, and now it is 13th position. This is our achievement; the team will perform well in the qualifying round we are going for.
