Gold prices in Pakistan on Monday dropped, mirroring the downtrend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs3,200 to settle at Rs523,762.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs2,743, bringing it down to Rs449,041, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Saturday, gold per tola had climbed by Rs7,000 to reach Rs526,962.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $32 to $5,010 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a decrease of Rs55, settling at Rs8,164 per tola.
