Foreign currency rates in Pakistan on February 12, 2026

Today's exchange rates for various foreign currencies against the Pakistani rupee have been released for the local currency market, showing major currencies, including the US dollar, trading with slight fluctuations.

Today’s exchange rates for various foreign currencies against the Pakistani rupee have been released for the local currency market, showing major currencies, including the US dollar, trading with slight fluctuations.

Open Market Rates
In the open market, the US Dollar (USD) is being bought at Rs 280.55 and sold at Rs 282.20. The British Pound (GBP) stands at a buying rate of Rs 383.20 and a selling rate of Rs 386.99.

The Euro (EUR) is being purchased for Rs 333.96 and sold at Rs 337.24.

Regarding regional currencies

Saudi Riyal (SAR): Buying Rs 74.80 | Selling Rs 75.25

UAE Dirham (AED): Buying Rs 76.45 | Selling Rs 77.30

Canadian Dollar (CAD): Buying Rs 206.02 | Selling Rs 209.57

Australian Dollar (AUD): Buying Rs 197.60 | Selling Rs 199.25

Chinese Yuan (CNY): Buying Rs 38.00 | Selling Rs 40.00

Japanese Yen (JPY): Buying Rs 1.8182 | Selling Rs 1.9200

Interbank Market Rates
In the interbank market, the US dollar closed at a bank buying rate of Rs 279.55 and a selling rate of Rs 280.05. The British pound remained at Rs 382.08 (buying) and Rs 382.77 (selling), while the Euro was traded at Rs 333.01 (buying) and Rs 333.60 (selling).

Other interbank rates included:

Saudi Riyal: Buying Rs 74.53 | Selling Rs 74.66

Chinese Yuan: Buying Rs 40.46 | Selling Rs 40.53

Japanese Yen: Buying Rs 1.8211 | Selling Rs 1.8243

Market Outlook
According to experts, the rupee remains under pressure due to a strengthening US dollar in the global market and local economic factors. However, the future direction of the currency market will depend on upcoming external payments and the status of foreign remittances.
