Pakistan Tekken star Arslan Ash, whose real name is Arslan Siddique, has left the country and moved to Japan, believing that residing in the East Asian country will help him compete at the highest level. However, the e-sports icon says he will continue to represent Pakistan globally.
Arslan, one of the most decorated players in competitive Tekken history, has put Pakistan’s Tekken scene into the global spotlight following his breakthrough international victories in 2019.
He is a seven-time Evolution Championship Series (EVO) champion, with major titles across multiple editions and regions, an achievement that has cemented his status as one of the game’s all-time greats.

His dominance has continued into the Tekken 8 era, with headline wins at major EVO events in 2024 and 2025, according to Pakistani and international esports coverage.
A Japanese press release issued on Monday said Arslan has chosen Japan as a key base for the next phase of his career.
He has signed with Global Agency Co., Ltd. for player management in the Asia-Pacific region. Arslan said the move offers easier travel, a stable living environment, and regular access to high-level practice, while he plans to continue travelling between Pakistan and Japan.
