Operations at all driving license branches across the province of Sindh came to a complete standstill today following a major technical failure.
According to police authorities, a NADRA link down (National Database and Registration Authority) has caused the suspension of all licensing services.
Since the driving license system relies on NADRA for biometric and identity verification, the outage has made it impossible to process new applications or renewals.
The impact is widespread, affecting thousands of citizens who had arrived for their appointments. Police officials confirmed the following:
Operations have ceased at all six major driving license branches in the metropolitan city.
Services are also suspended in Hyderabad, Badin, Sukkur, Nawabshah, and Mirpurkhas.
Police authorities have stated that work will remain suspended until the NADRA link is restored.
Citizens are advised to check for updates before visiting branches to avoid inconvenience.
