The new Gwadar International Airport (NGIA), in collaboration with Pakistan State Oil (PSO), has set up a temporary aircraft refueling station.
An official at Gwadar International Airport told Gwadar Pro that an efficient refueling process is essential to maintaining flight schedules and ensuring passenger satisfaction. The station includes fuel delivery procedures, essential equipment, facilities, and overall operational mechanisms.
The fuel supply process involves transporting fuel to the airport, testing it, storing it, and then delivering it to aircraft. Fuel can be brought to the airport via tanker trucks.
The equipment and facilities of this project include all necessary infrastructure required to receive, transfer, store, and pump fuel, while the general operations department is responsible for ensuring human coordination and compliance with environmental regulations.
An airport refueling station is a highly important facility that ensures the timely and safe supply of fuel to aircraft. It involves a complex system of equipment and procedures that manage the transportation, storage, and delivery of fuel.
