Nationwide flight operations have been severely disrupted due to administrative issues, resulting in the cancellation of 13 flights and significant delays for 48 others.
The disruptions have particularly affected travelers heading from Karachi to Lahore for the Basant festival, leaving many passengers stranded.
Lahore-Karachi Route
Out of 22 scheduled flights, 4 have been cancelled (PF 142, 143, 144, and 145), while 8 others are facing delays.
Flights PA 401, 402, 403, and 405 are running 2 to 5 hours behind schedule. Additionally, private flights 9P 846 and 9P 847 are delayed by approximately two and a half hours.
National Carrier (PIA)
Morning flights PK 302 and PK 303 are facing a massive 5-hour delay.
International Routes
Travelers heading to Dubai from Lahore are facing the worst of it, with flights PA 80, PA 410, and PA 416 delayed between 6 and 11 hours.

With the “Phir Aayi Basant” festival in full swing, the unusual delays on the Karachi-Lahore sector have caused immense frustration for tourists and kite-flying enthusiasts who had planned weekend trips to the city.
