Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Wednesday, mirroring gains in the global market.
In the domestic market, the price of gold rose by Rs14,800 per tola to settle at Rs529,162.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs12,689, reaching Rs453,671, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Tuesday, the price of gold climbed by Rs24,000 per tola to settle at Rs514,362.
In the international market, gold surged by $148 to $5,064 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also edged higher, rising by Rs109 to Rs9,255 per tola.
